Historical reenactor portrays Roosevelt at Performing Arts Center, Heritage Museum on Oct. 19

ASTORIA — “Teddy Roosevelt’s Oregon Roadshow,” a live performance by historical reenactor Joe Wiegand, will visit Clatsop Community College’s Performing Arts Center for a presentation on Friday, Oct. 19, as part of a five-day tour of schools, museums and historical societies across Oregon.

The tour is organized by the Oregon Historical Society, sponsored by Wells Fargo and presented by the Clatsop County Historical Society.

From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., guests will have a chance to meet the president during a special reception at the Heritage Museum. At 7 p.m. he will make a public address at the PAC.

Tickets for the special reception, including his public address, are available for advance purchase at 503-325-2203. They are $15 for Historical Society members, $25 for nonmembers.

Those who wish to attend the public address only can purchase tickets at the PAC door that evening. Tickets are $5 for Historical Society members, $15 for nonmembers. Seating is limited.
