LONG BEACH, Wash. — The Peninsula Arts Center welcomes singer-songwriter Terry Holder at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 7. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Holder’s award-winning songs are getting her noticed. Her performances are opening hearts everywhere she goes. Gifted with a voice to break your heart and with a touching display of emotive vocals, she weaves her songs from the heart and soul.
Holder won the 2013 “Wildflower Songwriting Competition” in Richardson, Texas, is a 2013 semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and has been selected four times as a “Kerrville New Folk Finalist” at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival.
Holder is touring as a duo these days, performing at house concerts, festivals and venues around the country and continuing to build a loyal following.
“If I can touch one person with a song, then I feel that I’ve accomplished something great in my life,” she said. “Anything is possible. It’s never too late to do what you’re inspired to do or what you’re passionate about; you just have to start.”
