WARRENTON — Michael Tomlinson, one of the great singer-songwriters of the Pacific Northwest, visits the North Coast on Thursday, May 31, for an intimate acoustic performance at the Astoria Golf & Country Club.
Tickets are $50. The price includes a delicious dinner created by country club Executive Chef Gehrett Billinger. The concert starts at 5 p.m.; dinner follows the performance. Seating is general admission.
In Tomlinson’s music, folk rock and jazzy pop overlap, and his ballads are all his own. Van Toffler, longtime president of MTV,VH1 & CMT, calls him “completely without peer.” About his album, “The Way Out West,” West Coast Music said, “This is the album I’ve been waiting 20 years for James Taylor to make.” More recently, Tomlinson released what is arguably his finest album yet, “House of Sky.”
Tomlinson’s concerts feature an elegant flow of songs, stories and humor — warmhearted events that leave his listeners inspired and entertained.
