NEHALEM — Oregon Public Broadcasting’s “State of Wonder” is coming to Nehalem at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, when host April Baer interviews author Nancy Pearl at the North County Recreation District’s Performing Arts Center, 36155 Ninth St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Pearl is a National Public Radio contributor and has been called “America’s Librarian.”

After the event, there will be an opportunity to purchase Pearl’s books and get them signed.

Admission is $25. Tickets are available online at hoffmanarts.org, or from library board members and Manzanita Writers’ Series volunteers.

Proceeds benefit the Manzanita Writers’ Series and the North Tillamook Library Friends.
