ASTORIA — United Way of Clatsop County presents Gifts That Make a Difference from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the McTavish Room at the Liberty Theatre, 1203 Commercial St.

The event gathers 30 nonprofits in one space and invites the public to join them and meet the faces of these organizers to learn firsthand the work they do for the community.

Bring your knowledge, personal experiences and skills to this event to meet like-minded people and open new doors of volunteer opportunities for yourself and your family.

Along with volunteer opportunities, many organizations will have items for sale to help support their agency’s mission.

Enjoy festive music and delicious refreshments, and make a family-friendly craft provided by the Thrivent Action Team. Embrace the holiday spirit by giving of your time, talent and treasures.
